The draft of this album was written in New York, where Katja Šulc attended poetry workshops while studying music at the New School. After returning home to Slovenia she got together with Pier (RootsInSession), igniting an inspiring musical collaboration, showcasing their unique approach in blending poetry with music.

Following the overall praises of two single releases I Love You You Scream (2010) and There Will Be Boys (2012), the album came out in 2013, creating a buzz and leading to MTV Music Awards nomination. Rooted in hypnotic rhythms of reggae and dub, the record can be described as musically diverse, pulling from a variety of styles, including soul, jazz and r'n'b, evoking sensual thoughts and taking the listener on a musical journey infused with twisted delight and deep calming rhythms.
