lyrics by Katja Šulc

lyrics

if I in my twisted morning delight
awakened by dreams that bring no pleasure
linger in my bed thinking of lost treasure
the didn'ts, shouldn'ts, coulds and mights

lost in the labyrinth's zone of twilight
all for love that only time will measure
am I cursed to disturb my morning leisure
or am I walking towards the light

I press stop and enter the time machine
you and I and our love are the scene

you and me lying in a sweet embrace
feeling your touch, your skin, your lips, your taste
love bruises still all over me
your scent still under my skin
your eyes evoking my desire
lifting me higher

prayers are left for those who tasted tears
I mourn, I sigh, I howl, I cry, I sing
put on a white dress, light all the candles
to capture the love that still seems endless
